How Firm Foundation of Utah Got Started
Firm Foundation of Utah is a husband-and-wife team. Semisi started in framing about 30 years ago. Sherri runs the office and talks with customers. Together they have worked in construction for more than 25 years. They ran a construction company in Tacoma, Washington, then did work in California, and have now moved back home to Utah. Most of their new jobs come from word of mouth. They finish one job, and soon the whole neighborhood calls them for help. Concrete is the work they enjoy most. Many Utah County homes are built with unfinished basements, so they also finish basements for growing families. Whether it's a backyard slab, a retaining wall, or a basement remodel, they want to do the kind of work that keeps neighbors calling them by name.

Meet Semisi and Sherri Heimuli
Semisi V. Heimuli is the field owner and the license holder with the Utah Division of Professional Licensing. He has more than 25 years of hands-on construction experience, starting in framing and later moving into concrete and general contracting work. Sherri Heimuli handles the office side of the business and is often the first person you'll talk to. Together they run Firm Foundation of Utah as a family business, handling both residential and commercial jobs across Utah County and the Salt Lake Valley.

Firm Foundation of Utah LLC holds an active Utah contractor license, #11824306-5501, through the Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL). The license covers General Building and General Engineering work, with Semisi V. Heimuli as the qualifying party. We are a family-owned business with more than 25 years of combined hands-on construction experience, and we take on both residential and commercial projects.
